Was at Alligator Festival. The handicap toilets suck. The fest itself was great except the ride company giving live baby bunnies away as gifts.
The bridge park is okay. It has baseball fields available for use. There is parking and a walking trail. The trail is frequently blocked and not accessible due to people sitting in chairs on the trail watching youth ball games. The trails could be enhanced by adding various elevations creating "hills" and people not blocking the trails. Using the parking lot, cross River Road and then using stairway to walk up to the top of the levy and walking the MS River levy is enjoyable.
Alligator Festival St. Charles Parish. It was a great time. The ride company wasn't the best, they were giving away baby rabbits as prizes until the law stepped in. Then they started selling them. Still didn't like that. Some rides did not look as safe as they should have been. Wheelchair accessible port-a-lets were not truly fully wheelchair ♿ accessible. The deputies working the festive were wonderful.
It's a nice and friendly environment. It also has several baseball fields, and play equipment for the children. And if you want to workout for a bit, they are also equipped with a workout station and track. Water fountains and restrooms are also available.
Very nice multi-use park. Very clean. Perfect for family fun. Tennis courts suface could use some love.
